WTF!

In a previous blog entry I mentioned that one of the boys threw my camera in the trash on garbage day and I never have found it so I had to get a new camera. I gave them a big lecture on NEVER EVER touching Mommy's new camera EVER.

They are also not allowed in the computer room which is my bedroom. I'd like to think the day will come when I can trust them alone for 4 minutes while I am downstairs putting in a load of laundry and transferring the first batch to the dryer, but clearly that day is far, far away!

Later on I took some pics of the boys on the porch, still having no clue of their shenanigans. I wanted to see if any other photos were on the camera that I'd already downloaded, as I erase the pics from the camera after each download.

And lo and behold, what do I find on my camera????? Pictures I sure didn't take! Below is the forensic evidence that my boys were in the computer room AND playing with my camera...

This one is actually not too bad, eh?

Here I see that Lm is messing with my CD drive!

I asked Lk, "Were you playing with Mommy's camera?" Of course I knew that he had been but I wanted to see if he would lie to me, as most of the male species is geared to do.

But he nodded vigorously and said, "Yes! Played with Mommy's camera!"

"Why, when I told you not to? You have your own play camera and this one is expensive."

"I take pictures, Mommy!"

Indeed he did! At least he did not wreck the camera this time.
