Salvaging the rest of LD Weekend

After the potty training debacle, we managed to save the rest of the weekend for some fun things. The weather was great, so my guys played outside quite a bit. Lm had many important calls to make to various people from his kitchen phone...

Lk likes to haul around whatever he can fit into his tractor trailer and truck...

Lm was all smiles!

Until he threw his toy saw and it missed me by an inch. I put him in time out and he was not happy about that...

Before long, he was back on the phone...

"Yo, ho-ho!" My guys like to play pirates. Lk got this little gadget at the church picnic with my parents.

This was on the way to have dinner at the local lake restaurant. They closed the next day for the season so we had to make it out there one last time!

Next day we went to the park with Grandma.

Out of sequence, but Lk wore his state fair necklace to the restaurant. I picked it up at a Lutheran booth; they were free and I took one that didn't have a cross on it.

Last night my sister and her brood came over for a visit. I'll get those pics up later; tomorrow I'm leaving for a long weekend to Boston for a vacation and will get back Tuesday. After this I will try to travel less, hopefully not at all for my job, and next trip will bring my boys when we go to AZ to see my sister's family at Christmas. But this will give me a good opportunity for some rare time with college friends and just to hang out.
