Snow Babies

Friday we were snowed in and I couldn't make it in to work. So, after their naps, I took L&L outside to play in the light fluffy snow. Lm, always the daredevil, had to jump head first into the deepest pile and the cold really stung him! He had snow all over his face and was really surprised by it. After I wiped it off, he kind of stayed on the sidelines a bit.


Lk, on the other hand, was very adventurous the whole time and I showed him how to make snowballs.

I'll probably regret it in a couple of years when I could very well be on the receiving end of that!

Lk's "new" coat is actually a second hand item. I would probably never buy them any sports related clothing. And I'll admit it here: I don't know what the Chicago Bulls are. It sounds too aggressive to be golf, and it couldn't be football since that would be a state team I assume. My guess is basketball?

My poor bird! He was soaked through but really enjoyed being out in the fresh air.

For Valentine's Day, the boys got a new toy; it has a water based marker on one side...

...and stamped shapes on the other side.

Yesterday I brought out their Boppy pillow which had been in the closet for 2 years. I thought about donating it but Lm loves clouds, stars and the moon so much that he wants to hang on to it.

A week from now I'll be in Arizona. Can't wait to get out of this horribly cold weather.
